Mackie HR824 trouble

One of my Mackie HR824 monitors bit the dust. Makes a constant loud white noise from tweeter only, regardless of whether signal is input, regardless of volume trim settings, and regardless of power switch on front and power switch on rear. Power LED on front panel does not come on.

I'm a tube amp guy, and not familiar with SS amps. Troubleshooting advice? I have a nice service manual, here: http://bmamps.com/Schematics/Mackie/...ice_Manual.pdf

Hi.. As you have no Power LED , I would check all the voltages from psu as you have the schematic. if all correct disconnect the tweeter and inject a signal in see if you get an output to the driver. Pots and jacks are a good start if there is noise

Kind of sucky the way the schematic was omitted from the SM.
