+1 on that. Marshall UK are very helpful to customers, also supportive of the small independent technician. The contrast with Fender is stark.

That's all great and fine if your in England but in the States it's a different story and I've seen many encounter the same exact problems as Voodooeye did and I think I told him that a long time ago. While parts and technical assistance may be dealt with on a logistical time warp a claim and request for a new amp is a whole new ball game to the Dealers and Korg USA so not only do you have to deal with the uncaring and slow moving dealers but with the other end not moving very fast either. I have heard that Marshall England treats their customers as fast and gratefully as any in the world.KB

Any time your customers are in a different part of the world, you wind up not dealing directly with them. We don;t have that direct access to Marshall any more than Europe has the direct access to Fender.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Switching brands
Marshall 800 series amps with channel switching and effects loops can be had for less money than a comparable new Marshall (purchased new), they sound better and mere mortals can work on them. Sadly, most high production amplifier companies have a similar approach to service, so you may not be any better off.

Let me guess, you're running thru the 4/8 speaker jacks? Full stack?
