Yep exactly the same as mine. So I know the plug is grounded and doublechecked by running a jumper from the top lug to chassis ground. About all I know to do now is print this thread and take it and the amp to the local amp tech. I hear he's pretty good with older tube stuff and maybe he can do something with it. But I do appreciate the advice and help Ive received here. It just seems this problem is a bit above my head.
