1960 cab possible speaker blown

Hey, i'm new here so i hope i can meet someone to help me out.

I've lost quite a bit of volume in my 1960 cab run through my dsl100 and am getting a weird fuzz when the guitar is not plugged in. All the tubes are new and working. I'm trying to remove the back of the speaker plate, i've removed all the screws.

is it attached by any other means, or just glued well?

If anyone knows a) how to check the speakers and b) what to do next that'd be amazing.

I wouldnt try to dissassemble the speaker.Try a known good speaker to be sure the noise isnt coming from the amp.If you are getting noise with "the guitar not plugged in",it is possible the problem is in the amp and not the speaker.
