  • Marshall 2555 Silver Jubilee build

    Hey guys,

Working on a Ceriatone 2555 Silver Jubilee copy. I'm having a problem where the channel switching isn't working. The design uses power from the filament taps. At the intersection of D8 and C22, I'm getting 10vdc. I feel like I should be getting the same at the end of D9, but I'm getting no voltage. There's no voltage present at LED1, which is the channel switching indicator lamp. All components seem to test well and the wiring looks correct. I'm wondering what voltages I should be seeing.Click image for larger version

The Led is supplied with voltage through the relay coil. Test the relay coil for continuity and or check the wiring to be sure that the coil is wired correctly.

Also make sure that the panel switch is not closed.

Thanks Bill! The diagram shows the relay set in backwards. What a pain in the ass.
