  • 6X4WA instead of 6X4?

    Hello guys
I need a 6X4 rectifier tube for my Silvertone 1482 amp.
    May I use a 6X4WA instead of the 6X4?
According to the Duncan Amps tube data sheets (TDSL) it is not a substitute for a 6X4.
    Please advice.

Should be the same, WA is usually a more rugged military version of a tube.

Sorry Carlo, further checking shows the WA has less current capability, so it is not the same.

        Ok
The seller actually told me the same thing about current capability
