Vox VT 40 +

Hi everybody ,

Throwing myself into the unknown for therapy:-)

Vox Vt40+

Making loud snap..... Snap.... Snap sound. I have not found a schematic yet. Have been told this is a difficult one? The sound is continuous and reminds me of the sound of an old ignition coil building then collapsing( showing my age).
Any troubleshooting help available?

Unless it's something very basic such as the proverbial "it must be some loose wire" it looks disposable to me.

A CPU with a powerful (class D) Soundcard.
