  • Gibson GA77 RET needs new Power Transformer

    Hello,
I'm in need of a new power transformer for my Gibson GA77 RET.
The amp has ss rectifier and the schematic calls for 700VAC across the center tapped high voltage supply and a 50 volt bias supply. I have 120 volts coming out of the wall. I also need a 6.3 vac center tapped heater supply that will feed 6 preamp tubes, an OA2, and 2-6L6's.
Does anyone have a recommendation on where to go for one that will work?
    Thanks,
    Dave

    I bought a 720vct
(360-0-360) with a 50v bias tap, 5v rectifier & htr tap from Edcor last month. It's a standup model XPRW002. Unfortunately, the amp I bought it for needs a lower, around 500vct secondary. So, pm me if you're interested. Will also trade for a standup twin rev. PT.
