  • Need a new source for 25uf/25v axial caps.

I think Spraugue prices are too high. I've been using F&T caps with no problem & like the smaller size... However 25/25 axial caps are getting difficult to find. Anybody have a source of cheaper 25/25 caps?

    Why not just use 22uf?

Agree. 22uf is a standard value, while 25 is not. 25 is a retro value, they had them then, they don't now. The small difference in value will not be audible.

22uf/25v axial at Mouser, 10 lot prices:

      Basic Spragues - 0.33 ea

Yup, my mistake. I typed in 25uf instead of 22uf. Thankyou for all the help..... Good Deal!

If you could go to radials,.......about $.08@.

Yep. If all I have is radial, I sure will install them rather than wait. But for the few extra cents, I prefer to use axials on the part boards because they lay down flat and look less hack.
