Quick question...do you need the footswitch for the phaser to work on this amp? I can never remember on these older Peaveys what will work with and without the footswitch.
Thanks JPB...I found my peavey notebook and it has all the footswitch schematics in it for the older amps...I was able to figure it out by jumpering pins 1 and 3 on the DIN plug on the back of the amp. The phaser wasn't working at first but removing and reinserting the IC's into their respective sockets in that circuit brought it back.
Thanks for the schematic...I wasn't able to locate one on line...Somewhere I have a CD with most of the Peavey schematics for their amps up to about year 2000 or so. I used to do this stuff full time but most of my schematics are packed away somewhere. I'm finding myself doing more and more repairs again...not something I planned on doing but I guess I like the extra dollars. I work as an electronics tech in my regular 9-5 and do this evenings.
