    bias cap?? switching?? 470ohm switching resistors were overheating. replaced w/ 10 watt. still so hot!!

    Your video link is asking me to sign in. I am not joining anything to watch a video, so perhaps a clear description of the problem?

    What amp model and can you link a schematic for it?

    What are switching resistors?

    If you think the bias supply has cap issues, then measure the ripple on the supply.

      I assume you are hearing octave overtones maybe?
      That is usually caused by bad filter caps in the high voltage.
