while Im waiting on a schematic , I had a question .

In this old Randall bass amp (rba 500 es) , it has 6 output transistors. All of them are MJ 15003 . However a few are different , as in Ive got a couple labeled C 8815 . Some are CA 8819 .

Will the MJ 15003 work in all 6 spots or are some NPN , some PNP ?

I cant find any info online about the " C" numbers

MJ15003 is a part number, it is always NPN 8815 and 8819 are date codes, they mean the transistor was made in the 15th or 19th week of 1988.

Here is the data sheet for the MJ15003, look halfway down the right side of the first page - it explains the markings.
