RG - I am trying to fix one... just for the experience and to learn about SMPS. Do you mind if I post my process with pics and possibly draw a schematic to share? Wanted to ask first.

    Why would we object?

I only ask because as far as I know the OneSpot is somewhat of a secret... Patents and whatnot...Maybe I'm wrong.

We are not going into production of them. So the patent doesn't apply. Every Behringer schematic you see on here is a proprietary drawing, yet here they are.

Right, and I wonder if anyone gets upset about these things. In general I'd be a bit more free-willed, but simply out of respect for RG, just wanted to get the all clear before stepping on anyones toes. I know he doesn't own the dang thing, but had a PART in the design.

I have the utmost respect for RG, but drawing out schematics is what we do here, and I don't think he would be worried we are going to steal anything. he would say something if I am wrong.

Cool. I ended up fixing it. I took some pics but have yet to trace it. We'll see if I can make it happen. After checking the mosfet/s, diodes, caps with basic meter functions I didnt find anything wrong. I began an thorough inspection with my loupe and found 1 or 2 solder pads on the flyback were cold. The traces weren't broken, just the joint was cold and visibly could be moved when pushed with my thumbnail. I saved $20! pics aren't anything to write home about... But it's something.
