This isn't going to help, but there is a great electronics store called HR Distributors in my hometown of Portland, Maine. Wall of resistors, caps, connectors, tools, switches, wire, heat shrink, etc. I had shopped there so long, I could go behind the counter. I really miss being able acquire a resistor or something if I needed it during a repair, since I moved away.
