Bass Amp question: Ampeg BA 115 Beeping

Has anyone run across a beeping noise coming from an Ampeg BA 115?

Sounds very similar to the beep that comes from a smoke detector when the batteries are low.

This rig is only a few years old and hasn't presented any other problems.

Does it do it with nothing plugged in?
Does it do it when one or both volumes/gain controls are all the way down? Does it so it when all cell phones within 10 feet (of the amp or bass plugged in) are turned off?
