Mesa Nomad 55

I have a Mesa Nomad 55 2x12 combo that's making a humming noise when you turn the master control up on channel 2 (orange channel). The other channels work fine. What could be causing the problem?

Does this happen only with a guitar plugged in, or even with no input?
