  • Mesa Mk4B volume varies in Lead channel...

    Lead channel has volume swells. It's a MK4-B head. Not predictiable. What's going on?

    After spending too much time removing the chassis, there's NO way I could get to the solder side of the board. Everything is on one large PCB with wires flying off in every direction. I passed on this repair.. NO more Mesa amps...disgusted...

        Meanwhile I got a Mk IV tied around my neck like the proverbial dead albatross. One thing I found was 0.1 uF 400V orange drops gone bad. They're *never* s'posed to do that, but two did. So if you're ever in a frame of mind to dive back in...
        This isn't the future I signed up for.
