Got a photo? I don't remember which ones they used, but there are a couple common footprint styles that are usually in amps. larger format like Peavey uses, and smaller format like Marshall uses.

What is the wrong with the switch?

These amps are known for 'channel hopping' if the footswitch jack normally closed contacts get dirty or corrupt.
(Although the problem is not specific to these amps)

I got a lot of old crate parts lying around in my shop that might be what you need.

Hey Guys, I bought this amp off CL and it had a Celestion vintage 30 in it. I bought it mostly for the speaker but after plugging into it I found its not a bad sounding amp. The channel switching switch was replaced but someone using the bright switch to replace the channel switching switch so there is no bright switch and the other thing I found is the reverb tank is busted, it partially works but only has one spring... Not sure if I should waste any money fixing the amp as its pretty beat but it does sound decent for a old SS amp. I was just trying to figure out a cheap method to replace the switch and not sure about fixing the reverb. I looked at the replacement tanks and they want around 25.00 so I don't want to waste too much cash to fix this. The amp does channel switch though so its really the bright switch I need.

Hey DrGonz78, do you have a 9 inch reverb pan for a crate that's working? the switch I need is a small DPDT pushbutton switch I'll have to open the amp up to get a picture of it. Let me know, I think I'll probably fix the amp up... I think the amp might be worth saving.
            Thanks

              Hey Enzo,

its the smaller format like Marshall. There used to be a old electronics parts house near me but they closed the doors on surplus...

keep working on the picture... I have drawers full of switches, and I bet a bunch of guys on the forum do as well.

It's a pcb mount switch, correct?

Without some sense of scale, those pics are useless.

Like the overall length or the pinout spacing.

What we do know is that there are not any tabs from the shell.

Well here are some measurements of what looks like a very similar switch. The length is 1" and 5/32". The width is 5/32" or about a 1/4". The height is 3/8". Pin spacing is 3/32" but the two middle pins are wider apart at 1/8". This was the best I could do measurements wise, but I think it makes sense. Here are some pictures too. As far as the reverb tank... I don't think I have that one but Ebay or someone else here might be able to help with that one.

Thanks for looking DrGonz, I went ahead and used some old small toggle switches to replace the two bad switches on the amp, soldered some wire in and Bam... works like a charm. This amp is so beat up I figure why waste money when I probably would only get maybe $50.00 on CL for it... Surprisingly the clean channel takes pedals pretty well and for a real beater amp it would make a good club amp for the guy on a TIGHT budget...lol

The plus side was the guy that sold it to me for $60.00 had put in a Celestion vintage 30 , the speaker was like new shape. That alone was worth the buy
