5150--crazy problem

yes - each trans has 1 leg to ground. i checked all around the board and its grounded

well, i had some time tonight, so i pulled the board and replaced cr23 , c54 / c55 . R83/84 test good. still has the noise when switching


what about Q3 ? or possibly the switch itself ?

OK---I found it ! (i am an idiot).........i cleaned the switch and its pretty damn quiet now when changing channels .

so the amp seems to be fine all around at the moment.
