    IMHO, folks should sell them while they are working. I don't know the various models, but I've mixed a number of gigs on a stack of L1 per side. I was not impressed with any aspect of their performance.

      Hi Timmy.
      I agree with you even though I said for some it is worth it to repair because most people cannot afford a new system. If any one of the Bose units break down, it is best to buy something else like you said, if you can afford it, or just repair with quality components and keep going. These systems were originally designed for solo performers and duos for sound quality and low volume. However, to save weight, time, and in some cases cost, people used multiples of them as front of house PAs, DJ work, etc. I would never use these for anything other than my solo shows in a small to medium venue. They are crap for a band, DJ, or larger venues. But some say they are great and are currently happy.

        Was just wondering has anyone got the L1 classic up and running, also has anyone used the 2 top cylinders as a normal pa with xover and separate amps and subs

          ciao sto lottando con la riparazione del mio Bose PS1 Power Supply Repair dove il primo intervento è stato nella sostituzione della resistenza R621che era aperta inoltre è stato sostituito IC601 (UC2843AN) con uno equivalente (UC3843B) e il mosfet Q601 (P10NK60ZFP). All'accensione non trovo alcuna tensione sul CN623 ho pensato di scollegare tutte le altre schede dall'alimentatore lasciando solo l'alimentatore pensando che ci fosse un carico elevato dovuto a qualche altro guasto ma non è stato così mi ritrovo con millesimi di volt in uscita. infine ho notato che lasciando tutto collegato il pulsante di accensione in ON e il pulsante di accensione fantasma (+24) attivato il led rosso si accende un po 'mentre il led di alimentazione è spento. Spero nella vostra risposta cordiali saluti
