Bassman AB165, bass control is hardly working

      Gotta ask,..... What speaker are you testing it with? I've run into this with my cheap little bench speakers. I don't use anything good on the bench for initial testing, in case something throws DC at them. The bass control on some of the Fender bass amps is tuned low enough that small cheap speakers won't respond.

        I'll try to get another photo showing the pots, caps, and wiring all in one picture (like Justin's).
        Also - I'm using a 12" celestion in a cabinet. If there was an issue with the size/type of speaker, it would be apparent on both channels.
