Hartke A70 loud click when switch on and noisy

Hi,

I have this amp Hartke A70 and when I switch it on it produces a loud click and then a stuttering noise with no cable attached.
When I switch off it produce again a loud noise a few seconds after is off.
I put a clip on the attachment so you can hear it.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Other than the pop, does the amp work? It's not uncommon for there to be a popping sound when you fire up an amp. Is there some reason we need to worry about it?

Edit: If the pop is "louder than normal" try putting a .01UF across the power switch. It could just be switch arcing noise you are hearing.

the amp is very noisy and the click is audible also when i switch it off. it is not the usual pop. please have a listen at the mp3.
