If you took the unit to a qualified service shop and it now has a new problem when you got it home, TAKE IT BACK, a shop should have a shop warranty. Tell them you paid for it to be repaired but it is not yet fully repaired. Give them a chance to correct this.
    hello.
i tried to re-edit the post or delete my email from the post but i couldnt find a way...it only shawing " flag , quote " not the " edit " option/

when i took it back to the authorized shop to re-check on it.. he said 60$ upfront .. i paid that .. then they checked on the speaker ... they couldnt fix it.. but also they didnt give my money back they sad you have 60$ in credit if you want to fix any other things in the future .. and they said about the speaker you need a new PCB .. thats why im asking what exactly were done on this form .. to see if i could fix itor it not to fix it or just buy a new assembly amp because i couldnt find a PCB by itself anywhere even the kit you cant find it anymore..

    i dont know .... i feel lost .....

would you please let me know what did you do exactly to fix this ..
Did you read through the entire thread? In post #28 he said he found Q104 to be bad. Later he said that the second unit had the same fault.

It is Q104, the regulator for the +15V supply. Lower left area on pg.1 of schematics.

Sorry but I will not be able to help much with this. It looks like the names on the circuit board do not match the names on the schematic. So Q104 could actually be called Q4 or something. If you had an electronics background we would just say that you need to find out if the +15V supply is working. Then you could trace it back.

It should be found on this circuit board, maybe on the bottom side.

That is for Thump12A. This thread is for Thump15A. They are not the same. If yours is 12A, the problems Lowell found in the 15 will not apply. That is why we can't find the parts he was talking about.

You can start a new thread about Thump12, but if you have no electronics experience I don't think anyone will be able to help.

That schematic is for V2, as in version 2. Is yours a V2?
