Hey guys I am working on a Music Man 115 RP. I replaced the original filter cap they were sounded bad and had small bubbles. Then I noticed like it was farting out even at low volume. So I replaced the 7 op amps in the preamp circuit. It was still not right so I had a friend listen to it He says it is cross talking. any help

from what i can tell, the 115-65 uses chassis 2275-65, my apologies for the poor quality schematic
The 115RP uses chassis 2100-RP, the file 2165 & 2100 should; be one you want
Check all the power supplies for correct voltage & ripply voltage, this includes +/-16V on D10 & D11, the DC supply on D9
Also check the +/-16V gets to the op amp power supply pins, for all the op amps
It may be some of the low value electrolytics have dried out, and it might be worthwhile replacing all the electrolytics, not just the big ones you have already done
Also check the HV diodes & capacitors from each end of the primary of the speaker transformer down to ground are okLast edited by mozwell; 09-21-2016, 02:53 AM.

Mozwell tested the diodes there was some bad. Finally got in replacements they came on the slow boat but anyway, Now it isn't crystal clear as it should be little distorted not much and volume just isn't there. Thanks for the help on those diodes any more ideas.
