USA made spider 50watt 1x12" Transformer

Hi All

This is one for the Americans. I have a customer who plugged in a USA made spider to the UK power 240V AC
So it went pop, Just the fuse gone.
Ive contacted the spares in the UK for Line 6 and they have told me a Pile of Crap That this model was usa made only
Regardless on the note on the back stating what fuse to use for the 240V. So i have no joy there

can anyone tell me what model this is or have a schematic so i could check out an off the shelf tx

I know i can go down the route of a 110v stepdown, I would prefer not too

So the transformer still works?
then you donīt *really* need a schematic (wouldnīt hurt though)

You seem to have a split bobbin ... nice because it helps.
Draw a schematic of what transformer windings do, but you *seem* to have:
* grey and red primary (so they told you the truth: single USA type 120V primary)
* not clear the background, you donīt how it well, but you seem to have:
* orange orange ... HV taps?
* black ... center tap?
* yellow yellow ... preamp supply taps?
* maybe their center tap or some shield.

So apply 120V to primary and read secondaries, then draw a nice diagram for us.

You might find a similar local off the shelf replacement OR you might rewind just the primary, since it comfortably sits in its own space.

ive spoken to the spares place again and told them there is a uk model and what i think is the correct no.. This maybe a usa model but there is a uk model using the same chassis. Hence why on the back there wording if used in 240v ac use this type of fuse
If i send any for a rewind it maybe more than the amp is worth.
As we here in the uk are on 240v i don't have a step down tx so i can't check the output of the 110v. The other option is to buy a stepdown and just get him to use that.. But that's sort of cheating
