I have everything back together, with a New R58.
Nothing gets hot.
The same "noise" is present, and the light bulb is still bright.
Is it possible this amp had a short when this neighbor kid brought it to me.?
Is it "possible" for the light bulb to indicate a problem that would still allow the amp to run and not blow the mains fuse.?
I guess what i am wondering is.....what can i check while the amp is on the current limiter.?
If it no longer blows the mains fuse (which i have at 7 instead of 8 Amps) should i try taking it of the light to take some basic measurements.?
Thank You
