Greetings from Poland. My name is Thomas and it will be my first thread regarding to Peavey 6505+112.
Few months ago I purchased Peavey 6505+ 112 combo and converted it into head. After 40-60 minutes of playing the sound become weak.
It is muffled like covered with blanket.
I have checked all preamp and power tubes, even replaced with good, checked ones and it is still the same.
The only thing that fix the problem temporary is switching the Standby switch ON and few second later OFF.
The sound is again ok, but after 5-10 minutes later become again muddy, lost its power like cover with blanket.
All cables, inputs are ok.
The video below shows exactly what happens, 00:16. When I turn on Standbyswitch and turn off, the problem dissapear, but just for a moment. It happesn very often when the amp is hot and has been working for 50- 60 minutes.

I can read the schematics, but this problem is overwhelming me and makes me angry
