2006-08? Marshall MG50dfx Clean Channel issue.

Got this amp from a friend for free. The gain channel works. The clean channel works but can barely be heard even when at full volume. I took it apart, the treble 20k pot on the clean side was broken. I am going to replace it. Would the treble pot being broken affect the clean channels volume output? If not what should I check next? Thanks for reading.

It could do as all the clean signal passes through the treble pot wiper.
