    Electronics, better said Physics, are not "democratic".
    That 10 say something and 5 say something else does not mean the one with most "votes" is right ... or the opposite for that matter.

      Definitely bad. Less than 2:1 ratio between the 2 halves is most likely ok, 10:1 means it is no good.

        Any chance it had been wired wrong and you really have about 45 ohms per side? Three leads means three combinations. If the remaining combination reads 90 ohms, I'll accept that.

          I was thinking the same thing but I couldn't reckon the 7.8ohm reading in any combination. Unless that OT primary has more than three leads?
