  • Fender Frontman25R Older model Schem

Does anyone have a Schem for a 1992 Frontman 25R. The one on Fender's site is from 2000. It shows a 9 pin IC (TDA1514A). The one in this amp is a 10 pin. (Its actually 12 with one on each end cut off). Its fried and cracked down the middle but I can make out L9721A. Its not crossing over on Mouser's site. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Mickey, welcome. I'm down in Lansing.

9712 looks like a date code.

The amp uses a uPC1188H. Fender used that chip in a number of models back then.

If you need more, send me an email with Fender Frontman 25R schematic 1992 version as the subject line. I have it on 11x17 paper and will have to do a two part scan. My service discs only hold the newer version.

My address is: tmenzo at msn dot com
