Something about old Ampegs, I get at least a couple a year that look like they've been in a barn or garage for thirty years filled with all kinds of crap.
At work we get blown SMPS's from the south with little fried lizards in them.
They crawl on for heat, short out the HV and end up a toasted little skeleton.
Also spiders, sometimes alive, sometimes poisonous I have to watch out for.

Last year I fixed a Leslie that was stored in a barn. A small rodent built a nest out of that paper-like sound deadening stuff that Leslie used to cover the inside of the cabinets with. Took it all out the back door to clean it out and found the former resident's remains in with the shredded paper. Maybe there's something in that paper stuff that isn't good for mice.
Long time ago, I fixed a Vox Jaguar that had been the home to some sort of small lizard. Its' skeletal remains were quite a shock to find under the keybed.

I would say this thread has turned to crap, but it started there."Take two placebos, works twice as well." Enzo
"Now get off my lawn with your silicooties and boom-chucka speakers and computers masquerading as amplifiers" Justin Thomas
"If you're not interested in opinions and the experience of others, why even start a thread?
You can't just expect consent." Helmholtz
