this is a short post for those who might experience volume fluctuation while using the -15dB jack. In my case, the contacts inside the jack were oxidized. *the potentiometers can be cleaned with a bent straw (0.3-0.5mm from the tip) positioned between the board and the pots and spraying inside and upwards. it kind of works like a bar glass rinser. otherwise the board needs to come out...
thank you again to J M Fahey, 52 Bill, Enzo and g1 for helping me fix the Ampeg BA210SP a few years ago. it is working very well; it doesn't overheat, the sound is clean and the BIAS kept the original setting. wish you all the best!
