Im changing out a bad bridge rectifier in a Marshall TSL 100

    the scem shows a BR62

i have a couple rects here in my bin...labeled BR1

However, i cant find a BR1 listed anywhere? Mouser has everything but that one

    the Br62 is 1kv / 6a

    so what is the Br1 ?? 1kv/ 10a ?

Are you sure there isn't another digit after the BR1 (or more)?

thats the one that comes in the Marshall.

i have 2 new ones sitting here in my bin that look the same, but are stamped BR10 ...........just need to know what the current rating of the ones i have is...but i cant find it listed anywhere.

The BR10 is a series of 10 amp rectifier bridges. You would expect to see 1 or 2 more numbers following the BR10 that indicate the maximum forward voltage rating, such as BR1005 for a 50 volt rating, BR101 for a 100v rating, BR104 for 400v and so on.

If the BR10 you have is about the same size and shape as the Marshall bridge and the 4 legs line up OK with the holes then it will probably do the job, as it only has to rectify the heater voltage and should be able to handle 4 amps more current.
