Best glue for capacitors?

I have been a fan of the Gorilla Glue Clear for various things. Sticks very well, dries clear. Don't know about heat or acidity.

This thread reminds me of the Ashdown Peacemaker 40 that i own .with the loud hum due to the design of the amp with all the heat .el84 x 4 & all the glue they used on the caps the melted & flowed down into the tube sockets . I replaced the tube sockets but that layer of glue was pliable ,like glue from a hot glue gun .

I had that happen on a Peavey protube 100. Socket replacement was only way out.

Silicone bath tub calk....

Many emit an acetic acid vapor as it cures which will each through metals. You should use a neutral cure type.

Well, a friend of mine bought one of this, almost as a joke ... was really surprised: excellent sound and playability ... and you canīt go wrong with the controls!!!



Pity the band heīs in is .... ummmmm .... "rainbow coloured" ....

Although out of that rainbow, "pink" seems to be the favourite .
