The reverb transformer only drives the tank input, so if shaking the tank does not make noise in the amp, the problem is on the return side not the drive side. I would rule out for now the drive transformer.
If turning up the reverb control makes more noise in the amp, the recovery amp is probably ok, so the problem lies between the tank output and the recovery amp input. Unlike older pro reverbs, this version of the amp uses jfets to kill the reverb signal going into the recovery amp. Check Q2 and Q3 for shorts and check to make sure that the gates are getting the correct voltage to turn them off.
