  • Anybody in Vancouver want to fix (probably recap) a Fender Princeton Reverb?

My friend is live sound engineer for some band. They are in Chicago tonight but don't have time to get the amp to me for a possible on tour quick fix.

They have a few days off in Vancouver sometime next week. Anyone in the area interested??

I'm on the way there if they're driving. If I can be of help, I would certainly do so. If they're flying, not so much.

Road crew is drivin. Not sure about the bands. I looked up the tour dates it looks like everyone goes home or who knows where for a 10 day break then meet up in Vancouver and get the tour rolling again.

Ah well. I just figured I'd ask since my old buddy was looking for help in Chicago or Vancouver, but they actually have no time in Chicago since they spent all their days off in Toronto. Probably won't work but I'll mention you. Thanks Dude!

Many times over the years, I had a band show up at my door wanting a quick service. I told them there was likely a parts order involved and no way I can do this overnight. I then tried to help find a service shop near their next destination where they might be for a couple days.

If the road crew is driving, how long will they be in CHicago?

I can fix a vintage Fender while the tour bus is idling and I don't have to order parts. The stage manager at the Riviera has my number.
