Anyone ever work on one of these? Quite an oddball. Trying to bring it back from the dead. Replaced 2 bad opamps and got it producing sound. But output is quite low. Waiting on Fender to e-mail a user manual. Wanna make sure I'm using it correctly and not missing something stupid.

Mid 1980's amp, part of the London, Showman, line of amps. Only lasted a few years until Fender was sold to Bill Schultz.

There really isn't anything special or unusual about them.

Any repair of those usually involved resoldering all those board connectors.

Here is a link to the manual: http://www.stratopastor.org.uk/strat...wmanManual.pdf

Note: I cannot upload it as it is an 8Mb file.

            Thanks all.

Fixed er up. IC1, 2, and 3 were all toast. Initially I found the outputs stuck to the -15v rail. Replaced 2 and got sound but low volume. Both channels run thru IC3 and replacing that fixed it.

Was this designed by a big name? Soldano or someone of that stature? Thought I read that somewhere while studying up on it.

            Here's a pic.

That was made during the Rivera era at Fender, though I doubt that he was involved in much of the design of these amps.

What's up with the 0.1uf capacitor on the speaker out jack?

Also, I see a 'death cap' on the schematic.
