That's not a piezo. Can you post a picture of the original one. We can probably help you find one.

It's more likely this, but I'd have to see it to be sure.

I know it's not a piezo but it is the driver for a horn loaded speaker, screws on to the horn. And vaguely remember replacing a similar one in a TNT combo I believe. just providing a picture and a possible other parts source.

A piezo doesn't need a crossover, although there may be a cap and/or resistor to knock the level/response down. A high frequency driver with a voice coil will need a crossover. If you have a piezo and install a "non-piezo", you'll likely need to add a crossover. Best to stick with what is there.

nosaj, your thread on driver is way larger than the piezo. The piezo does not have a threaded throat.

MCM & Newark where both part of the larger Farnell entity since 1996.

Now it seems that they have been combined.

But will the new Newark unit be selling all the consumer electronics oriented stuff as MCM? Stereo speakers, Asian semiconductors, technician aids, etc.?

I should probably read twice and post once. really missed that he identified it as a piezo.
