I complained to Caig on how much I hated their new Perfect Straw failure of an "improvement", and here is their response: Seems many agree.

Yes, we have a new valve slated for our next production run this month. Lower pressure and a bit more control.
Current one has a volume between the Medium and High, the new one is between the Low and Medium.
If you let us know your address, we will send you a sample, along with our FLEX-TIP attachment.
In the meantime, MCM Electronics and Parts Express does carry the old can (L-M-H valve).
It’s on our website also for a limited time: DeoxIT® D5S-6, More than a Contact Cleaner

The Perfect-Straw™ I guess is not perfect yet. Our first few runs had some valves and caps that didn’t fit correctly all the time (machine issue). We are working to fix this issue. We have a new valve being manufactured and should be incorporated into the products the month of November. Less pressure and more control. We are also working on a smaller more flexible straw – check our website late this year for updates.
We were receiving thousands of people with issues of losing extension tubes and/or not being able to insert the tube into the actuator. We strive to listen and respond to our customers’ needs, providing new products, new applicators and documentation. We now offer the Perfect-Straw™, useful for most applications.
We also over the years were receiving requests for a very flexible tube tip to get in very small and difficult spaces at sometimes hard angles.
To solve both above issues we designed the FLEX-TIP™ for the yellow straw: DeoxIT® D5S-6, More than a Contact Cleaner
We would be happy to send you one of these FLEX-TIP™ for you to try.
FYI: On our next production of products using the Perfect-Straw™ we are displaying on the label, a message noting the availability of the FLEX-TIP™. This will help when people are unaware of its availability.
The Perfect-Straw™ actuator does have control to provide controlled dispensing of the fluid. It may not be as easy as the L-M-H valve in the previous versions, however, you should be able to adjust the pressure of your finger to allow controlled flow. We are also working on a L-M-H version of the Perfect-Straw™ . Video: HOW to Use the NEW Perfect-Straw?
If both the above are not satisfactory, we also provide our NEW Mini-sprays with the L-M-H valve and red extension tube. This also uses our new non-flammable solvent providing a quick dry and non-drip formula.

We strive to provide many alternatives, sometimes restricted by regulations, to enable the user to pick the convenient spray or non-spray applicator to suit his/her needs. Our products are very economical when used correctly and will provide years and years of performance and protection, unlike other products.
In the meantime, until we incorporate these changes, MCM Electronics does have a limited supply of the old valve (D5S-6, G5S-6 with L-M-H valve) for purchase – or on our website:
