  • dynachord PM 1000

    Hi,

I have the Dynachord PM 1000, which i have repaired several times but now i am am stuck with 2 problems.

    1. The effects processor board does not work could someone help me with a working board that has been salvaged from a non-working PM 1000?

    2. I get crackling sound from the output even when both the masters are down. I have the schematic but don't know where to start.

    Please help

Start by checking power supply voltages.

I got that you had a schematic. I was posting it for the rest of us to follow along. It's helpful to add the schematic to your thread so others can help you and know what is being talked about.

Again, verify that your supply voltages are both where they should be r.e. DC voltage and that they are clean and no ripple. It could be that you don't even need and effects board. There is the possibility that it is not being powered correctly or that power supply is noisy.

The effects went dead before this crackling noise came up, i had replaced one MOSFET HUF 75542P3, with an equivalent , way back in 2013, however it worked well after that. i sure i will get this machine up and going with help from this forum thanks again
