  • Vox mid 80s AC30 TBR Schematic?

Anyone have one? I have 2 AC30 reverb schematics but neither matches up with this thing.

...might have to buy one from these guys:

Where does it differ from the 'standard' schematics? (I ask out of interest)

I have the "78 with reverb" the "1992 with reverb" and the "AC30 with reverb Mod" ones. They all show the verb send/recovery tubes on the layout as being set apart from the rest (this version I am dealing with has 8 in a row) and from looking at the V numbers on those schematics and just swapping tubes in and out on this one, I know they are in a different sequence altogether.

I looked at that link but its not obvious which of the ones they list it would be, they list the ones I already have and know its not. The "84 RMAC-30" might be it since this one is an '85, but that one says nothing about verb, which this one has. It has high/low inputs for each of the 3 channels (TB, Normal, Trem/Vib), a "Cut" control across all 3, trem/bass on the TB as usual, and a verb across all 3. The pre-amp tubes are in-line 8 in a nice row. Its also designed to be a pain in the ass to work on and to discharge the caps before you take a chance on touching something you shouldn't.

I've not seen another AC30 quite like it, the model is "AC-30 TBR", made in February 1985.

Thanks Alf. That may be closer overall, The input stages etc look correct to what I see on that schematic, but no verb on that one, so still not quite the one I'm looking for. The verb is part of the problem (works but hums like no tomorrow) so I'm trying to find the right one for that reason. I may be SOL on this one, we'll see.
