  • Peavey 70777042 10" speaker

Anyone know what Z this is? Came out of an old passive Peavey cabinet. Has piezo and 10" woofer. The woofer is blown and I get an open DCR. I also e-mailed Peavey.

Don't you have the PV speaker lookup?

    That is a 101610, so 16 ohms.

Are you trying to match another cab? Otherwise, put whatever speaker you want to in there.

I have the semi cross reference...but not the speaker one.
I figure he probably has another identical cab so wanted to keep it matched. 16 is alot for a speaker like this which I'dimagine is driven by a solid state PA. I'll ask them what they're using it for. Thanks though and do share that pv speaker document if you don't mind.

What is wrong with 16 ohms? Makes it easy to string four of them on a channel as stage monitors for a 4 ohm total.

PV will send you any files for the asking:
