Vox Pacemaker input jack puzzle...help!

Check this schematic...

In the drawing, the signal from Input jack 2 passes through the 68k resistor but is shorted to ground via jack 1. How should it be redrawn to get jack 2 to work? Thx!

I think this is how it should be drawn....

what would be the difference between 68K in the Pacemaker schematic and 120K resistors as in the Cambridge? Thx
