I have a Marshall 5210 that has the "wind on a microphone" sound.
The Master Volume affects the noise, but neither of the channel controls do.
If I scope it with my DI I can hear the noise on IC1a pin 1 (near top right on schematic), from that node it is on both sides of C26 and then will die at the master if it's turned down.
I don't hear the noise at any other point. Thought IC1 was the culprit since it seems to originate there (no noise on pin 2), but I replaced that, then I replaced R9, then C26, then R59... now I am pretty much stumped.
I deox'd the pot with no change, rotating it does not seem to have any affect on the noise.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
