Thanks Enzo. This is the exactly the type of pilot light that this amp uses. I might just try some double stick tape to keep the faceplate laying flat on the chassis.

I've straighten a couple out with a short 2x4 & a mini slugh. Worked great , just take the tubes out as not to shake them.

So, I thought I would give an update and final repair to my bent chassis. I did end up buying and adapting a turnbuckle to push the chassis back into alignment. I was mostly successful. It is better and good enough for me. Pictures of "after" are below:

I removed the fuse holder and used the hook portion of the turnbuckle to "push off" on the opposite end.

          Good job!
What, if anything, do you want to do about the front panel that is popped over the pilot light socket?
          Either:
          1) Someone assembled it wrong
          or
          2) You have one of the SF amps that Fender goofed on the front panel hole size. The goof was that the hole in the panel was too large. Therefore, the flange on the pilot light assembly mounting barrel/lens holder slipped through the hole in the Fender face panel. With a properly made front panel that small flange will stay on the outside of the front panel and hold the panel tight against the chassis when the nut of the pilot light assembly is tightened on the inside of the chassis. You can make out all the individual parts of the pilot light assembly in the photo in Enzo's post #8. There are three individual parts in that photo. The lamp socket body, the mounting barrel/lens holder and the retaining nut. Not shown in the photo are the lamp and the jeweled lens.

          I'd guess #2.
The Fender factory fix was to install a washer between the panel and the flange on the mounting barrel of the pilot light assembly. The attached photo shows what that looked like. The washer is an add-on and not a normal part of the pilot light assembly.

It would be good to fix this on your amp to help prevent the panel from being further damaged when being pulled out of the cabinet.

          Cheers,
          Tom

Here are some pictures of the jewel pilot light lens:

It appears that this style lens does not fit over the front panel, but rather behind it with the panel layed over it and held in place with adhesive.

Great job straightening out the chassis! I will need to build one of those tools.

That is a normal pilot lamp fixture, the red jeweled lens has been replaced with a blue plastic one. If you unscrew the blue lens, you can replace it with an original style one. Tom's photo shows the missing chrome washer that was used to hold down the faceplate under the lens.
