Hello folks,
Has anyone had any experience with this old pedal? I have repaired a problem of the pedal not working, but now it's a matter of 'how was this SUPPOSED to work when it was new!!' scenario.
Thanx to the good ole folks back in the day, there is a schematic glued to the inside of the unit, but it doesn't include all the switching on the top panel.
As with most analogue electronics like this, it has a multitude of adjustment trimmers only a few of which I have been able to determine what do.
At this point the main issue I need to ferret out is, the sound on the effects is very thin compared to bypass. Does anyone know if that is normal for this thing? Trying to trace the signal path through even with the schematic is very difficult.
I meter checked all the electrolytics for shorts & also jumped them to no avail.
The transistors all show proper voltages for they're particular species. According to the dealer, this model has been sold for nearly $4K so it is worth the time to repair it.
Anyone? thanx, glen
