  • Trace Elliot AH350SMX dcv on output

This came to me after frying a few speakers. I measured 55 vdc at the speaker out. In the output circuit I found R13 burnt almost in half. One of the mosfets went belly up so I preceded to replace the K135's and J50's and the burnt resistor. While I had the PCB out I replaced the electrolytic caps on it for GP. I just turned it on and it's measuring 190 Mv dc at the speaker out. A lot lower than the 55 vdc it had before but is this still too much to have here?

    No worry.
We usually expect some 40mV or so, but 190 mV is still acceptable.
I understand it is without speakers, I bet with a real load there it will be better.

      Where did you find J50 & K135?

Thanks.....in my mind I had incorrectly figured the 190 MV as 1.9 volts instead of 0.19......

          Sorry I wasn't specific. I used the buz900 and buz905 as replacements.
