A 300w Mark Bass Combo Head II comes in for low volume issues. I repair a cutting out speaker cable, input jack and spotty controls. Still doesn't seem loud enough, then I find the tweeter is silent. I clipped in a different one and it works, but it doesn't seem loud at all. I took the original one apart and am not sure what I am seeing. Can someone tell me if this odd pattern is the result of heating, or is this normal, I have never seen one apart like this. It is a Le Son model LJ. I read 5.6 ohms across it.
I will do a power test to see what is being delivered to the woofer in case I have an open output, but in the meantime I'd like to solve this mystery.
