I'm looking to replace the dead one in the amp. Do they still make this amp? Thanks pb

The amp is from like 1991, no they don't still make them. They MIGHT have the transformers. The part number should be on the old one - it does not appear to be on the schematic. Call Crate and see if they still have them. I don't think they sell direct, which means a dealer would have to order it.

I see that this is a pretty old thread but I have a vl-1002 that I just gutted for parts. I need to test it because I don't know what condition it is in. If you are interested in it PM me. Let me know the stamped code on your old one so we are sure that they are an exact match.
