  • Peavey Deuce automixer four switch pedal.

I am replacing the old wiring in mine, a previous owner rewired it and its a bit shoddy
. I have had the casing powder coated, do the switches all earth through the casing? Will I need to remove the powder coating where the switches contact the casing?

The switches themselves do not need to contact the metal.

On my pedal the switch for the phaser has a washer with a tag, an earth is soldered to that tag. this wore runs across every switch except the selector switch.
